I love making pull-apart bread as there are so many designs I could try out, and thought of making this Christmas wreath using matcha bread buns. I added Totoro at the bottom of the wreath, and some soot sprites too.
I used cookie dough to cut out the ribbon at the top of the wreath, and melted chocolate to pipe on the details on Totoro.
Here is another shot, this one with Z3 trying to take a piece of bread. He doesn’t quite like matcha but he loves the cookie ribbon, LOL.
If you are interested in the recipe, this is the one I always use. Just add about 2-2.5 tsp of matcha powder. I used the same recipe to make these Totoro matcha pull-apart bread buns a couple of weeks ago.
