I was actually doing a Google search for a recipe for another Gudetama idea I have in mind, when I realized that I have a ton of Gudetama food photos which I have posted on Instagram over the last few months but not put on my blog. So this post is full of back-logged Gudetama food posts.. Hope you won’t be too bored with this, LOL!
Gudetama tamagoyaki which I made on a Monday many weeks back, so reflective of how sleepy I am on Monday mornings (or most mornings actually). Served with a simple salad and a Gudeatama hard boiled egg.
And a Gudetama burger, with sunny side up Gudetama and his famous bacon blanket. These made for a very yummy addition to the beef patty in the burger.
Here is a simple breakfast of a sunny side up Gudetama over toast, with bacon and fruits.
Gudetama omurice, served with cream stew. I tried a new technique of making the omelette for the omurice, I stirred the egg slightly while the omelette was setting, just enough to give it a slightly creamy texture without turning it into scrambled eggs. Love this soft texture of the omelette.
Last but not least, here is a Gudetama sushi cake I made for my birthday earlier this week. The rice was layered with shredded omelette and wrapped with thin slices of cucumber. I added ikura (salmon roe) around the side, and topped with Gudetama and his bacon blanket. Love how the ikura looks like little pearls here, and it was so yummy too!
