Thought I will update my blog while waiting for Z1 to do his corrections on his comprehension exercises, he’s got a test next week and his comprehension is terrible. 😦
Here are some Pooh Tsum Tsum bentos which I have made.
This first one was yesterday’s healthy lunch for me. I came across the idea of stuffed peppers
in a magazine and thought I would try it out. Slice off the top of a pepper and scoop out the insides. Add some salt and paprika into a beaten egg and pour into the pepper, then bake for 35 minutes at 170 degrees or until the egg has cooked through.
I added a small salad and made Tigger out of an orange cherry tomato.
Next is a Pooh and friends Tsum Tsum bento, I made little onigiris with sides of corn and honey roasted chicken. Pooh is made from rice mixed with deco-furi, Tigger from rice mixed with minced carrots, Eeyore from rice with water extracted from blue peaflowers, and Piglet from rice mixed with sakura denbu. Piglet’s ears and nose are cut from pink kamaboko.
Lastly is a Pooh and Tigger sandwich bento, I made the characters from mashed potato and topped my egg salad sandwiches with it.
