Ok, this is going to be a catch up post on Cookie Monster related food and desserts that I have made and shared on Instagram earlier. (>-<) LOL.
Here is a Sesame Street themed bento where I made the Sesame Street characters using onigiri. Cookie Monster is coloured with water extracted from peaflowers, and Big Bird, Elmo and Oscar were mixed with deco-furi (coloured furikake). Cookie Monster’s cookie is cut from aburaage (sweetened tofu skin) with nori as the chocolate chips.
I also added some alphabet pasta to suit the theme. 🙂
Next are Cookie Monster and Elmo rice burgers I made last week. Cookie Monster is again coloured with water extracted from peaflowers, and Elmo is rice mixed with ketchup. Had no chocolate chip cookies at home that day, so I gave Cookie Monster an Oreo instead.
Here are some Cookie Monster cupcakes I made a long while back. These are plain vanilla cupcakes that I baked, and piped on Cookie Monster’s fur with Swiss Meringue buttercream. Cookie Monster’s eyes are marshmallows and melted chocolate, and of course I stuffed chocolate chip cookies in his mouth. 🙂
Lastly, here are some Cookie Monster macarons I baked last weekend. I piped his eyes with royal icing, and used Nutella to fill the macarons as I was too tired to make ganache. These cookies here are actually pieces of cereal which look like chocolate chips.
And I made a little gif file of my Cookie Monster macarons devouring a stack of cookies.
Sorry for the overload of Cookie Monster pictures today, I really should try to blog more frequently. Hope you have enjoyed these Cookie Monster food art and desserts today.
