Red Panda bento

This bento of a red panda was inspired by one of our previous visits to the River Safari (in Singapore). They have red pandas near the main panda enclosure and there was this cute drawing of a red panda outside the exhibit. This bento was based on that illustration.

Red Panda bento

This red panda is resting on a branch in a tree. I made an orange-y egg sheet and used that to cut out the red panda. The details are done with cheese and nori, and the tree trunk and branch cut out from aburaage (sweetened tofu skin which is used to wrap inari-sushi).
