National Day in Singapore falls on Saturday 9 August, and I almost forgot to make a bento for it until I saw a note from the kids’ school about the National Day party they are holding on Friday afternoon.
I made this bento yesterday, a simple bento as it was a last minute idea and I did not give it much planning. This is a baked salmon bento with rice that is wrapped with a nori sheet. Sorry the nori looks rather wrinkled, here in the tropics the humidity levels are crazy. There is a little rabbit holding a flag and enjoying the fireworks that are usually held at the end of the parade.

Have a great weekend! (I wish the weekend was longer).
