Ok as promised, here is what I baked on Sunday.. chocolate dipped tea bag sugar cookies.
Saw this idea on Twinings, they used shortbread cookies but I went back to the kids’ favourite sugar cookies. I’ll post the recipe another day cos it’s 2.30 in the morning and I think it’s high time I go to bed. *cue panda eyes tomorrow*
- I trimmed the edges of the cookies as these spread while they were baking and hence I had to trim them to maintain the shape. I will adjust the recipe the next time I make sugar cookies to minimize them spreading while they bake.
- When the cookies are fresh out of the oven, use a toothpick or skewer to make the tiny holes for the thread. This must be done while the cookies are still hot and soft.
