3 ways to decorate bread bun

Today’s post will show 3 different ways to decorate a bread bun (actually the possibilities are endless!)

These buns are filled with a red bean paste (the shop calls in an-pan).

Z1’s bread was decorated to look like a bear (I actually had Rilakkuma in mind).

Z3’s was meant to be a tiger but I carved it wrongly, so in the end I turned it into Totoro instead. After taking the pictures and the little guy ate up his lunch, I realized I forgot the whiskers! >.<

And Z2 had two little girl’s faces on her bread bun, I gave them little hair accessories of candy sprinkles.

They all had sides of yoghurt, strawberries, and a little candy apple each for Z1 and Z2 (the grocery store called them candy apples cos each apple is so tiny! Each apple can actually fit into a standard sized silicone cup).
