Jungle themed lunch

The theme this week at Muffin Tin Monday is “It’s a Jungle Out there!” and I thought this would be a fun lunch to teach Z1 about the Asian jungle (rainforest).

Jungle lunch, muffin tin monday, monkey, elephant, tiger, cute fun lunch for kids

Jungle themed Muffin Tin Monday lunch

Top Row – Monkey made out of bread and cheese, banana chips with brown sugar (banana chips for the monkey instead of a banana, geddit?) and tiger striped carrots (nori strips on steamed carrot slices)

Bottom Row – kiwi trees (to represent the forest canopy), an elephant decoration amidst some grapes and strawberries, and yoghurt topped with a flower baran (again, with reference to the plants found in the rainforest jungle)

I added a fun touch of some large 3D ants I bought online couple of months ago, Z1 loved playing with those ants throughout lunch!
