Little White Mice

This tiny bento is actually Z3’s. He has recently become really fussy at meals and we realized he actually wanted a bento box like his older siblings too!

I made him two little white mice peeking out from the ground. The “mice” are quail eggs, and the “ground” is made of inari skin (sweetened soy bean sheets) filled with tamago (Japanese omelette) and rice. He has sides of steamed broccoli and grapes, no additional protein as his little tummy wouldn’t be able to stomach so much food!

Bento of mice peeking out of ground, using quail eggs and inari. Cute lunch bento for kids, baby .

  1. My spouse and I stumbled over here from a different page and thought I might as
well check things out. I like what I see so i am
just following you. Look forward to checking out your web page again.

  2. This is too cute! ❤ I wouldn't be able to sink my teeth into these adorable little critters.
Did you use uncooked pasta to hold the little ears in place? Inari looks delish too! x

    • Thank you! I made small incisions on the sides of the egg and slotted the ears in, as my son ate this at home. However if he was bringing this out then yes, I would use pasta strips to hold the ears in place during travel.

Leave a Note! I'll love to hear from you.
