Sleeping Babies Lunch Bento

This week I will be posting more rice-based bentos rather than bread, had some inspiration after going through some cute Japanese bento blogs over the weekend.

Today’s post was Z2’s lunch, I made her 2 sleeping babies. I used inari skins (sweetened soy sheets) for the cradle, and the babies are made out of rice, with cheese blankets and some tamago (egg omelettes) tucked underneath. Punched out the hair and facial details from nori.

cute lunch bento for kids - sleeping babies (onigiri) in inari cradle. Cheese blankets and tamago.
