15 minute bento

My fellow bento blogger Rebecca at Bentos On the Bayou has a new linky starting this week – 15 minute Fridays! Not all bentos are time consuming to prepare, it doesn’t take much more time than preparing your standard lunch!

Fast, simple and easy lunch bento for Easter. Takes less than 15 minutes to make a cute lunch bento for kids

Simple Easter bento done in less than 15 minutes

This is a bento I made for Z3 while his older siblings were in school, done in a Easter theme and presented in an egg carton. The containers are little plastic Easter eggs.

Top row – halved strawberry with cheese slices, yoghurt topped with sprinkles and a sultana scone I baked two days ago.

Bottom row – Halved red grapes, halved green grapes and a heart shaped Nutella sandwich using homemade wholemeal bread.

And here are some photos of the bento making process (the stopwatch counts up instead of counting down – this lunch took 13 minutes and 13 seconds to prepare).
