With Thanksgiving around the corner, some of my fellow bento bloggers have decided to do a bento hop to showcase what we are each thankful for in life.
As a working mother, aside from a loving husband, good family support and a job I like, I love my three kids more than words could ever describe. They motivate me to push myself harder, and make me think about how my decisions would affect them. I love their laughter and cheekiness, and the hugs and kisses from them everyday. I am also thankful that they are healthy children, as my mother had always said that health is one thing money cannot buy.
I have put all these thoughts together in a simple bento. The three children were made of ham and cheese with nori details – that’s my son Z1 who is turning 5, little princess Z2, and baby Z3 with his soother. I filled the rest of the bento with fruits as I try as much as possible to get the children to eat healthily. They actually had a chicken and vegetable soup to go with the rice, which I did not photograph as I have yet to learn how to make a bowl of soup look attractive.
Now here’s the fun part. Click on the button below to hop over to Nina’s post, and then keep clicking to go through the full hop. Have fun!
